Dana

Dana is a trauma-informed therapist based in Calgary with over 13 years of experience supporting people on their mental health journeys. Grounded in a long-standing mindfulness practice, he brings a steady, calm presence to his work, helping clients feel deeply understood, supported, and at ease.

He works primarily with men aged 12 and older who are navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, complex trauma, relationship difficulties, sex addiction, chronic pain, and recovery from motor vehicle accidents.

Dana also offers couples therapy using the Gottman Method, helping partners reduce conflict, rebuild trust, strengthen communication, and deepen emotional connection—including working through experiences such as infidelity.

His work is rooted in a psychodynamic perspective, with a strong focus on the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for meaningful change. Alongside this, he integrates practical, evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, and mindfulness to support clients in developing lasting skills for well-being.
