I am Irene Esezobor, a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University, currently completing my practicum under the supervision of Ms. Effat Daftarchi, MA, Registered Psychologist (#8485) at Mind Revive Psychotherapy & Counselling Clinic. I hold a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services from Athabasca University.

I am passionate about supporting adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, addiction, and life transitions, including newcomers adjusting to life in Canada. My approach is grounded in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive framework, where I strive to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space in which clients feel supported, respected, and empowered.

I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness to help clients build coping skills, enhance self-awareness, and move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
